This Privacy Policy explains how OracleView processes information when its owner uses the application with connected services, including Tradovate. OracleView is a private, personal-use trading application. It is not offered, licensed, distributed, sold, or made available to the general public, and there is no present intention to share it publicly.
1 Overview
OracleView helps its owner connect authorized trading accounts, view account information, synchronize trading activity, apply configured risk controls, and maintain a private trade tracker. This policy describes the information needed for those functions and how it is handled.
2 Personal Use Limitation
OracleView is intended exclusively for use by its owner with accounts the owner is legally authorized to access. It is not a public platform, commercial software service, investment advisory service, brokerage service, signal service, or multi-user application. No public registration or customer access is provided.
3 Information Processed
Depending on the features and connections enabled by the owner, OracleView may process the following information:
- OAuth access and refresh tokens issued by a connected service.
- Trading account identifiers, account names, and environment information.
- Orders, fills, positions, balances, performance information, and related trading records.
- Contract details, symbol mappings, and market data made available by a connected provider.
- Application settings, risk controls, synchronization preferences, and trade-tracker data.
- Technical diagnostics needed to identify connection, routing, or execution problems.
When OAuth is used, OracleView does not require the owner to provide a Tradovate password to OracleView. Authentication occurs through the connected service’s authorization page.
4 How Information Is Used
OracleView uses information only to operate the owner’s requested features. These uses may include authenticating a connection, displaying account information, synchronizing trading activity, retrieving permitted market data, submitting or managing orders when execution is enabled, applying configured safeguards, updating the trade tracker and statistics, and diagnosing errors. OracleView does not use this information for advertising, marketing, behavioral profiling, or sale.
5 Storage and Security
OracleView is designed for private, local use. Settings and trading records may be stored on the owner’s device. Authentication credentials should be stored through secure operating-system facilities where supported. OracleView is not intended to display, export, or write passwords or access tokens into ordinary logs. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no device, network connection, or software system can be guaranteed completely secure.
6 Information Sharing
OracleView does not sell or rent personal information and does not disclose it publicly. Information is shared only as necessary with services deliberately connected by the owner, such as Tradovate and its affiliates, another authorized broker connection, or infrastructure required to complete an authorized request. OracleView does not share information with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.
7 OAuth and Connected Services
A connected service controls its own authorization process, security practices, availability, and privacy policies. The owner may revoke OracleView’s access through the connected service’s account settings. Disconnecting an integration removes locally stored connection credentials where the application supports that action, but it does not alter records retained by the service provider.
8 Retention and Deletion
Local settings and records are retained only as long as the owner chooses to keep them or as needed to operate the application. The owner may clear trade-tracker records, disconnect a broker, remove stored credentials, or uninstall the application. Connected brokers and service providers retain information according to their own policies and legal obligations.
9 Children and Unauthorized Use
OracleView is not directed to children and is not intended for use by anyone who lacks legal authority to access the connected trading accounts.
10 Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when OracleView’s private functionality or connected services change. The effective date will be revised when material changes are made. OracleView will remain a private personal-use application unless a separate decision, legal review, and policy update occur before any public distribution.
